"Sometimes I go on great adventures, through lands of tall sunflowers that are the color of a ripe blueberry. Once the man took me to a place full of long vines that seemed to haunt me for days after. I don't know how I get there, or how I get back. All I know is that where I go is a place no other children seem to be. No other humans for that matter. Just creatures that lurk in the shadows at night.
Once I even got to ride what I was told is a centaur. It was a near cream color and it's fur was short and silky. But once he found out, I was never allowed to go back there. I haven't been anywhere like it since.
The last place I went was covered in thick fog. With terrible screams and groans coming from every corner. He told me everything was fine, and if I got scared then the shadows would come and surround me."
"Alright Jonah, good job. Can you tell me anything more about this man?"
I think long and hard for a good answer. Nothing I think seems fit to say. I don't know a lot about the man, but I do know that he would be mad if I said anything.
"Can I go home?"
"Of course you can."
My mom puts me in the car and buckles my seat belt. She kisses my head and miles at me. I love my mommy. And my dad. They both deserve some sort of an award for being such great parents.
